Hello! I’m Wendy, and I am dedicated to transforming the educational journey for students who see the world differently.

Every learner has a unique cognitive fingerprint. For many students—particularly those navigating Dyslexia, ASD, ADHD, and other neurodiverse profiles—the traditional "one-size-fits-all" approach to literacy can feel like a locked door. My mission is to provide the right keys.

My Purpose
This website is a resource for students, families and educators seeking to support literacy success. My practice is built on two fundamental pillars:
  • Structured Literacy: Moving away from guesswork, I use an explicit, systematic, and diagnostic approach to teaching. By breaking down the "code" of the English language, I help students master the mechanics of reading, spelling, and writing in a way that truly sticks.
  • Differentiated Learning: I believe that when the instruction meets the student where they are, acceleration happens. My methods are tailored to the individual, ensuring that learners with special abilities feel safe, understood, and empowered to take risks.
Why This Matters
When we change the way we teach, we change the way a child feels about themselves. Literacy is more than just a skill; it is the foundation of self-esteem and independence.

Whether a child is just beginning their literacy journey or has struggled for years to find their footing, I am here to help them make the connections they need to flourish.

Let’s celebrate the way they learn and unlock their brilliant potential, together.
